Well were in zagreb now after a nice train ride through the slovenian countryside. we booked an 'apartment' without really knowing what that was going to mean but it turns out to be a full basement suite with a kitchen and everything. we're definitely excited to make bacon and eggs tomorow- we already bought the groceries. pretty sure we have bacon but it might just be something that looks like bacon. whatever, i'm sure it will be good. As you canprobably tell breakfast continues to be the most reliably crappy meal, as is always the case when you travel it seems.
ok ttyl everyone. oh and if you're reading this could you just leave a quick comment to say hi? it feels so lonely here it would be great to hear from you all!
love m+t
Hey guys. The blog is a great idea and I am following along totally jealous of your adventures. I am craving good cheese after your cheese and wine photo. Anyway its Labour Day weekend and we went tubing down the Cowichan River yesterday. It was awesome. Happy adventures! Connie (and Cory).
ReplyDeleteHey, Mum and Dad here. We posted something on the last update so hope you got that one.
ReplyDeleteReally do wish we were there.
Love you both.
Hey Guys! Glad you are having a good time. Love reading your posts and seeing what your latest adventure is! Looking forward to hearing from you again!

Glad to hear your enjoying your "maybe bacon" :) Miss you tons. I'm jealous as I sit here back at work after the long weekend.
ReplyDeleteTurns out the "maybe Bacon" was some sort of Bacon for sure. Not like Bacon at home but still really good. We've decided to take advantage of the apartment and do dinner at "home" too. We did tacos which was the most different thing we could think of from the food we've been eating regularly here. The food here has been fantastic but eating out every meal gets old quick and we're both feeling a little food home sick for sure.
ReplyDeleteOff to Split tomorrow for 3 nights and then sailing for a week.
Love,
Tracey
Mmmm, bacon. :)
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good stories guys. Love em.
It's great to read about your adventures and the pictures are terrific. They make it seem like you are not so far away. Hard to believe it's almost 3 weeks already---not trying to make it go by faster or anything:)
